Marigolds "Mr. Majestic" - Tagetes patula nana.
Unique and unrepeatable color, long flowering!
The composition with these marigolds looks very neat and elegant. They bloom from the very beginning of summer until the very frost.
Like all marigolds, this variety is very unpretentious and will grow in almost all places provided to it! The only remark is that with a strong lack of light, the peduncles begin to stretch and, as a result, such a composition looks a little scattered, so the main rule is to avoid too shaded places.
Marigolds respond well to complex mineral fertilizer, but you can do without it altogether, since marigolds will still develop and bloom well. However, we must not forget that fertilizers maintain good plant immunity, so at least spring feeding is never excessive.
Marigolds are ideal for beginner gardeners.
Seeds are sown in mid - late March for seedlings, sprinkling them with a small amount of earth. The first shoots will sprout within a week. At the stage of 2-3 true leaves, the seedlings should be dived. In mid to late May, it can be transplanted into open ground.
Agrotechnics.
The plant is thermophilic, drought-resistant. Prefers a sunny location, any well-drained soil.
Seeds are sown in April-May in seedling boxes. The seeding depth is 0.5-1.0 cm. At a soil temperature of + 18 ° C, seedlings appear on the 7-15th day. After 2 weeks, the seedlings dive. Seedlings are planted in the ground after the end of spring frosts, keeping the distance between plants 20-30 cm.

* Marigolds are very useful in the garden: excreting their roots reduces the damage to other plants by fungal diseases (especially Fusarium) and protects against certain types of nematodes. In addition, the dried leaves and flowers of marigolds are used to prepare a seasoning for salads, soups and sauces. So this plant, like no other, is also suitable for an ornamental garden.
